EOJELLY (ESA: 2009) Supported by the European Space Agency (ESA), the EOJELLY project was an Earth Observation (EO) program focused on the prediction of jellyfish appearance in European waters. TechWorks Marine was asked to join the EOJELLY consortium because of its extensive expertise in real-time oceanographic data buoys and oceanographic data processing. TechWorks Marine were responsible for in-situ monitoring programme, and provision of validation and training data. The EOJELLY team is made up of TechWorks Marine two other partners:

The project has a core user group consisting of European organisations, some of which include:

  • Marine Harvest
  • Glenarm Salmon
  • Catalan Water Agency
  • Spanish Environmental Department
