TechWorks Marine Successfully Deliver 8 Real-Time Data Buoys to Sweden and Norway

TechWorks Marine have delivered 7 real-time coastal data buoys to the Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute (SMHI) and the University of Gothenburg (GU), as well as 1 buoy to IMR (Institute of Marine Research, Norway), as part of a framework agreement.

TechWorks Marine in Sunday Independant

In April, a first-of-its-kind Sentinel observation satellite was launched by the European Space Agency (ESA) into orbit. The implications of this for Irish business are astronomical. Each Sentinel satellite will collect on average 1.7 terabytes of data per day.

The Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources, Mr Pat Rabbitte TD, congratulated Irish SME, TechWorks Marine, this afternoon (Thursday 7 March 2013) in Dun Laoghaire on securing a European Space Agency funded contract to the value of €670,000.

TechWorks Marine win ESA Coastal Monitoring Contract

Minister of State for Research and Innovation, Mr Sean Sherlock TD, today (Thursday 4th October 2012) announced that TechWorks Marine, an Irish SME based in Dun Laoghaire, has secured a contract to lead a European Space Agency (ESA) research project on monitoring coastal outlets.
